HUD Awards Fair Housing Grants
In the fall of 2006, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the Interfaith Housing Center two fair housing grants, totaling $374,000, to expose and eliminate housing discrimination and provide fair housing education and outreach in Chicago's northern suburbs. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky announced the awards and commended the Center for its work.
